The new 2014 Nissan Murano is a great choice for a midsize SUV. It features sporty handling, upscale interior as well as a responsive V6 engine. The 2014 Murano has a continuously variable transmission that means virtually gearless shifting for increased fuel economy and an amazingly smooth ride. This crossover SUV also has intuitive all-wheel drive. The Murano reacts to not just changing conditions but also to changing needs. It can recognize the difference between cornering and cruising or even if the roads are wet or dry and the vehicle will respond accordingly.
The Nissan Murano has first class features in the interior of the crossover. The Driver’s Memory System will automatically adjust the steering wheel and outside mirrors to the pre-set positions. This system can also remember the settings for a second driver. The driver can keep their passengers comfortable by getting the available heated rear seats. There is also the wonderful dual panel moonroof. This gives the driver and passenger access to the sun. The driver can close the power shades with the touch of a button. When the sun goes down ambient lights will come on in the Murano. The rear lift gate on the Murano can now be opened by the push of a button on the owner’s key fob. It can also be opened from a button on the hatch itself. The trunk gives the customer access to a spacious 64 cubic feet of cargo area. The second row seats can be folded down which doubles the cargo space for the customer. A quick pull of two releases folds the 60/40 split seats.
Not only does the Murano have first class features but it also has top of the line safety features. Its front-seat active head restraints help reduce the chances of whiplash injuries to front seat occupants. The Nissan Advanced Air Bag System includes dual-stage supplemental front air bags with seat belt sensors and an occupant classification sensor. The rear-view monitor and moving object detection shows the driver what is directly behind them. The moving object detection will alert the driver when it detects something moving behind the vehicle while in reverse. The automatic on/off headlights respond to light conditions outside. They turn on or off when necessary, which allows the driver to concentrate on the road. There is also the available lane departure warning and blind spot warning systems. If the driver begins to stray from the lane, lane departure warning lets the driver know with audio and visual alerts. The Blind Spot Warning indicators will illuminate, along with a chime, when a vehicle is detected in the blind spot area.
The Nissan Murano also takes technology to the next level. The Nissan intelligent key allows the driver to tap a button in order to enter their vehicle. The key never has to come out of the driver’s pocket. The Murano also has a Bluetooth Hands Free Phone System. This allows the driver to pick up calls or make calls from the touch of a button that is located on the steering wheel. There is also the available Nissan Navigation system.
