Continuum Medical Staffing (CMS), division of Continuum Group since 2000, announces its new president and CEO, John P. Johnson. After seven years in the aircraft industry, Johnson is returning to the recruiting profession that he excelled at during his tenure at Lakeshore Staffing.
Johnson founded the temporary and permanent placement firm in Chicago in 1995, and served as President until 2003. Under his direction, the company grew $25 million in sales in just three years and in 1998 was named Inc.500 sixth-fastest growing company in the U.S.
Johnson has relaunched CMS with a strengthened staff of healthcare recruiters, a new identity and website, and new technology in place to offer cutting edge service to clients and applicants alike. “I am extremely excited about returning to the staffing industry,” Johnson said. “I put my heart in my business and my business in my heart. Johnson joined AAR Aircraft Sales & Leasing in 2004, serving as Group VP, corporate officer and Vice President/Corporate Leadership and Development. Prior to AAR, he had extensive business background including over 25 years of sales, sales management and general management experience. Johnson worked for 13 years with the Travel Division of American Express, holding a variety of senior positions including Vice President and General Manager of its eastern region. Johnson obtained his business degree from the University of Missouri, Columbia and attended college on a four-year golf scholarship.
