Manila is just our first step in our plan to expand into the Asian market where we know there is a great demand for the types of culinary concepts our company is known for.

Todd English has already made a name for himself abroad with his two popular Mediterranean concepts, Figs, with two locations in Kuwait, and Olives, in destinations such as Mexico City and The Bahamas. Now the four-time, James Beard Award-winning chef brings his mixed European market-style eatery, The Todd English Food Hall, to Manila, Philippines.

Known for English’s signature thin-crust flatbreads as well as its choice of eclectic specialty food stations offering everything from sumptuous pastas to savory grilled meats and sushi, Todd English Food Hall Manila is the second outpost of the wildly popular original Todd English Food Hall located at The Plaza Hotel in New York and will offer a similar global culinary dining experience.

“This is my first restaurant in the Philippines, a country I have always found fascinating for its melding of many food cultures,” says Chef English. “Throughout its history Filipino cuisine has been infused with Malay, Spanish, Chinese and American influences giving rise to a unique array of dishes that have inspired me in creating some unique and truly local flavors for Food Hall Manila.”

Located inside Manila’s foremost luxury mall, SM Aura Premier, The Todd English Food Hall offers a mix of European, American and Asian cuisine and features nine unique food stations that include a dumplings and noodle bar, an ocean grill and raw bar featuring the freshest seafood, and a station offering delectable sweets and homemade pastries baked daily.

The Todd English Food Hall Manila came about after English entered a partnership with renowned Filipino restaurant couple, Rikki and Beng Dee who run several successful dining establishments throughout the country. The union makes Todd English the first celebrity chef to open a restaurant in the Philippines.

“Working with Rikki and Beng has been a true pleasure,” explains Oliver English, Vice President of Todd English Enterprises. “We hope Todd English Food Hall will be the first of many restaurants in the Philippines. Manila is just our first step in our plan to expand into the Asian market where we know there is a great demand for the types of culinary concepts our company is known for.”

Todd English Food Hall Manila is located on the 5th Floor of SM Aura Premier, in Bonifacio Global City in Manila and is open daily from 10am to 10pm.
