The half-off promotion applies to already reduced clearance items, saving shoppers up to 72% off originally priced LED lights.
Brooklyn, NY (PRWEB) March 27, 2014
LED lighting supplier and manufacturer LED Waves has introduced a 50% discount on all items in their Clearance section. As this section covers a wide range of LED lights – from small 12 volt replacement bulbs to outdoor building wall washers – this clearance sale represents the company’s largest sale ever, both in scope and in discounts per unit. The half-off promotion applies to already reduced LED lights, saving shoppers up to 72% off original prices.
LED Waves’ Clearance section is studded with name brand LEDs including Nichia and Cree. Characterized by high CRI (Color Rendering Index) and durability, these chips lend a superior quality to bulbs and fixtures sought after by lighting designers for jewelry cases and other upscale retail displays.
Notable sale items include the Mark II Dimmable LED Light Bulb, available in A15 (6 Watt replacement for 40 Watt incandescent) and A19 (60 Watt incandescent) sizes. The Mark II is made with a domed diffuser and Cree chips to mimic both the profile and the omnidirectional light quality of traditional Edison-style bulbs. As a small company, LED Waves is pleased to offer these items at prices competitive with big box stores.
LED Waves is clearing sale items out of their Brooklyn facility with the goal of growing their in-house R&D and manufacturing operations, which specializes more on sustainable LED replacements for halogen, fluorescent, metal halide, HID and other lighting technologies traditionally employed by the commercial and industrial sectors.
The company started shifting production stateside in 2011, launching several halogen replacement LED PAR lamps made in the USA. Since then LED Waves’ exclusive products have expanded to include fluorescent T8 replacement tubes, recessed light fixtures, a high bay, and a best-selling line of outdoor LED flood lights.
LED Waves’ clearance sale is scheduled to run through spring/summer 2014, though items are subject to availability. Sold out clearance items will not be restocked.
