Irvine, CA (PRWEB) March 26, 2014 -- Today, the Jessie Rees Foundation's Chairman and Jessie's Daddy, Erik Rees announced that a matching gift of $100,000 has been made to the Foundation for the sold out "Imagine the Possibilities" gala event being held on Saturday, March 29 at the Newport Beach Marriott at Fashion Island.
"The revolution of caring that Jessie started during her battle with cancer has brought us so many friends," said Erik Rees. "A matching gift of $100,000 is so incredible, that it really does have us imagining the possibilities!"
The celebration on Saturday night will include special performances by international recording artists The Bolts as well as appearances by dozens of Olympic medalists and other celebrity athletes.
"We have 70 All Star athletes that have engaged with us to teach everyone how important it is to live Jessie's motto of 'Never Ever Give Up' or 'NEGU' for short," explained Erik Rees. "Past celebrations like this have included Heisman trophy winners like Matt Leinart, Olympic Gold Medalists like Lenny Krayzelburg, and many others. This is always a fun and newsworthy night."
