Excargo Services Announces New Executive Team Members
Houston, TX (PRWEB) March 26, 2014 -- Excargo Services announces three new executive team members, Ray Tarka, Corporate Controller, Albert de la Fuente, Warehouse Manager, and Ron Moore, Director of Transportation Services. Together, they are the latest extension of the company’s “E-force” leadership team and represent Excargo’s focus on growth and expansion.
With the new team additions, the company is advancing its information and management services by increasing IT capacity, expanding its already robust warehouse offerings and adding to an innovative dispatch planning program.
“With the growing focus on big data and services like the advanced warehousing we already offer, we knew that we needed top-level operational talent to take Excargo to the next level,” said Excargo President, Marcia Faschingbauer. “Ray, Ron and Albert bring significant business experience to our team, especially when it comes to supporting the kind of specialized service Excargo is known for.”
Under Tarka’s leadership, Excargo is already helping customers bring a new level of management to their supply chains with advanced data mining capacity and expanded information visibility. Tarka, who has proven experience in international business, finance and IT management, has led Excargo’s large-scale upgrade of the company’s IT infrastructure to the cloud. The change represents a total renovation of Excargo’s IT capacity, putting it in the position to improve process flow for customers.
“Our customers rely on our IT capabilities to manage their business,” said Tarka. “With this expansion and our ability to handle and analyze even larger amounts of data – we’ll be able to bring them better solutions and new ideas about managing their supply chain.”
Albert de la Fuente is helping Excargo customers put the company’s specialized handling equipment – and services like reconfiguring pallets and slip sheet transloading – to work to save customers money in several areas of the supply chain. De la Fuente is a seasoned expert in warehousing, most recently managing warehouse operations for one of the largest national importers of wine and spirits. His experience fits perfectly with Excargo’s specialized equipment and service offerings in the food and beverage industry, said Faschingbauer.
“Warehousing is really about handling a product efficiently and knowing how to reconfigure freight for the most efficient outcome,” said De la Fuente. “That’s something Excargo is set up to do very well, especially in the food and beverage industry.”
Meanwhile, Ron Moore is driving a company-wide focus on providing precise planning and dispatch service to minimize the impact of significant congestion in the Houston area on Excargo customers. Moore comes to Excargo with 25 years of experience directing dispatch in the truckload and intermodal sectors, and is overseeing Excargo’s customer service and dispatch departments.
“The Houston area has experienced a sharp rise in congestion, which means we’re planning further out and getting more precise about service,” said Moore. “We’re already getting positive feedback from our customers on our ability to help them manage this congestion.”
“All three of these individuals are a huge complement to our executive team,” said Faschingbauer. “Their fresh perspectives and specific expertise will help Excargo provide an even higher level of service in the years ahead.”
