When advisors and agents learn how Social Security works and how their advice on claiming strategies can save clients tens of thousands of dollars... they see how (to) better serve clients and how offering Social Security advice will grow their business.

Omaha, NE (PRWEB) March 27, 2014

Financial and insurance professionals wanting to help baby boomers with Social Security claiming advice can now register for the first Social Security School Road Show, a one-day live training event, in Atlanta on June 26. The Road Show also travels to three easy-to-fly-to cities – Chicago, Denver and Phoenix – in the coming months.

Nearly 1,000 professionals from across the country already have registered for or are participating in a series of Social Security School webinars by Social Security Timing® – evidence that more consumers are seeking expertise about how to maximize their Social Security benefits. Demand for such training fueled the concept of a one-day “crash-course” Social Security School Road Show.

“The overwhelming response to our first two webinars indicates that the first Road Show will sell out quickly,” said Joe Elsasser, creator of Social Security Timing®, a patented online software application that helps advisors determine the best Social Security claiming decisions for clients. “When advisors and agents learn how Social Security works and how their advice on claiming strategies can save clients tens of thousands of dollars, it just clicks – they see how they can better serve clients and how offering Social Security advice will grow their business.”

The Social Security School Road Show is an intense, daylong training to educate financial and insurance professionals on how to help clients incorporate smart decisions about Social Security into their overall retirement plans. Social Security Timing® designed the series of 10 webinars and four live events for professionals both new to and advanced in Social Security planning and to accommodate learning preferences and busy schedules. Road Show attendees can earn eight hours of Certified Financial Planner® continuing education credits.

General registration for the June 26th Atlanta Road Show opens today at school.socialsecuritytiming.com. Professionals who register before May 1st receive the early-bird pricing of $250; after May 1st, the training costs $299. After registering, attendees will receive an email with a link for a special room rate at the event’s host site, the Renaissance Concourse Atlanta Airport Hotel. Attendees are invited to a welcome reception June 25th at the hotel before the daylong training. The training starts at 7:30 a.m. and concludes at 5 p.m., June 26th at the hotel.
