Entertainment Industries Council Appoints Rogers & Cowan as Agency of Record
Los Angeles, CA (PRWEB) March 27, 2014 -- The Entertainment Industries Council (EIC), a pioneer in bringing the power and influence of the entertainment industry to communicate about health and social issues, has appointed Rogers & Cowan as Agency of Record. Rogers & Cowan will continue to build EIC’s profile as the preeminent educational resource to the creative community on health and social issues and serve as a strategic marketing communications partner to promote brand initiatives and events. The announcement was made today by EIC President and CEO, Brian Dyak and Rogers & Cowan CEO, Tom Tardio.
Rogers & Cowan will provide strategic counsel to the EIC about marketing and promotional activities in support of EIC initiatives. The marketing communications strategy will focus on building the EIC brand profile, nurturing relationships with entertainment and business influencers and promoting EIC activities and events, such as EIC’s annual PRISM Awards.
“This strategic partnership is aligning decades of successful outreach within the creative community and a network of public relations experts to elevate public conversations around health, wellness, science, engineering, technology, and the arts,” stated Dyak. ““This will include new content directions and conversations about social issues that impact public health and safety such as eating disorders, decorative contact lens safety, depression and teen suicide.”
Leveraging technological advancements in the entertainment industry including second screen viewing and social media, the EIC and Rogers & Cowan together will be able to reach out and connect to viewers on a more engaging basis. EIC and Rogers & Cowan will also utilize the EIC’s internet television network, EICnetwork.tv, the organization’s annual SET Awards, the PRISM Awards, and extensive online resources available to writers and journalists to inform the public about important social issues
"EIC is among the few who have championed important and difficult to discuss health and social issues like substance abuse, mental health, homelessness and STEM education within the entertainment industry. They have successfully done so for more than 30 years while building alliances with Madison Avenue and Pennsylvania Avenue," stated Tardio. "It is a privilege to be associated with such a respected organization whose leadership has attained significant accomplishments in bridging the entertainment industry and public policy.”
