MoGN will be showcasing the latest enhancements of the Mobile Generated News® App and Content Management System.
MoGN “Connect” is the newest feature that allows Citizen Journalists to view local content in other markets that have Mobile Generated News® affiliates. CJ’s can establish a relationship with local media and view user generated content all over the country. The MoGN App syncs MoGN Affiliates’ Social Media and local Web Sites through the App. This new feature will drive new traffic to local news organizations’ web sites and social media destinations.
Connect and the recently introduced “CJ Alerts” feature enables news organizations to interact with their audiences. CJ Alerts allows MoGN affiliates to notify individual Citizen Journalists and/or groups of CJ’s, to alert them that news is happening in their area. This encourages them to shoot, submit and share video and pictures like never before. These new enhancements increase MoGN’s commitment to domestic Television Stations, Station Groups, Networks, Newspapers, Web Sites and other News information services.
Mobile Generated News® was created for news consumers to share and interact with their local news organizations. The MoGN App enables news enthusiasts to contribute and share content they witness or simply submit their own Op-ed pieces to their local News organizations. Anyone can download the Mobile Generated News App for free and become a Citizen Journalist. If you are out and about and see news happening, you can instantly send in Breaking News. If you have a story or opinion that’s worth sharing, record it and send it in as well.
