About Dr. A. Jordan Wright
A. Jordan Wright, Ph.D., ABAP is a Columbia University trained clinical psychologist who specializes in psychological testing and assessment and psychotherapy. Having worked in school, hospital, community, clinic and private settings, he has conducted psychological testing and assessment for learning disorders, ADHD, emotional disorders, behavioral disorders and other psychodiagnostic problems. He has provided evidence-based interventions with children, adolescents, adults and families, ranging from ADHD and learning disorders to autism spectrum disorders, mood and anxiety disorders, personality disorders and psychosis. Dr. Wright is the author of the popular textbook, “Conducting Psychological Assessment: A Guide for Practitioners” (Wiley, 2011). In addition to his clinical work and faculty position at SUNY, he supervises doctoral students in at several schools in New York City, including Columbia University.
