Patrick Yoder, Pharm.D, and Dan Rubin, M.D. M.H.I., created LogicStream Health Inc. to help hospitals and healthcare systems improve the quality of care they deliver while reducing costs through better utilization of Electronic Health Records.
Dan and Patrick have a combined 25+ years of experience in clinical care as well as the operational side of medical practice. This knowledge combined with a unique interest and experience in information technology led to the creation of LogicStream.
“We identified a critical gap in the way EHRs are used today. The EHR effects clinical decisions every minute of every day at the point of care, yet there is little transparency into what the effect actually is. LogicStream provides a powerful application with rapid time to value for our customers by identifying deployed technology’s impact on clinical decision making. This type of decision analysis is transformational for the organizations that employ it.” said Dan Rubin, LogicStream’s Chief Medical Officer.
The company has generated a lot of interest in a short amount of time and can count two major hospital systems as customers to date. “We are excited to continue our quest to improve health care in partnership with TreeHouse Health. Our deep healthcare experience coupled with the TreeHouse environment and focus is a true win-win” said Patrick Yoder CEO of LogicStream. “We believe joining TreeHouse will help us grow our business both horizontally and vertically.”
“We are thrilled to be working with Patrick, Dan and the rest of the LogicStream team. They are building a great company and bring an extensive background and knowledge in healthcare to the TreeHouse family" says John Blank, M.D., Chairman of TreeHouse Health.
As part of their participation, LogicStream received a six-figure cash investment and will now work out of the 13,000 sq. ft. TreeHouse Health facility in the Loring Park neighborhood of Minneapolis.
LogicStream is now the fourth Portfolio Company to join TreeHouse Health since it opened in October of last year.
