She brings a wealth of energy, focus, determination and a “never give up” attitude to our team. It comes as no surprise to see her win the prestigious Sales Associate of the Year award, a very high honor, considering that Kris was singled out as the finest sales person of over 750 Fairfield Inn & Suites hotels nationwide.
At the Fairfield Inn, revenues have grown 50% over the last three years. Ranking in the comp set has grown as well. Once ranked 3rd, Kris has claimed the number one position in the comp set for the 4th quarter of 2013! Her remarkable work has also increased and stabilized occupancy at the property over the last few years.
Kris has a knack for getting the right piece of business for the hotel. She works closely with the Revenue Manager and General Manager to discuss opportunities and ensure a business is the “right fit” at the “right time.” Over the past 3 years Kris has reviewed each account and stay patterns to determine the best course of action. Her passion for the success of the hotels helps drive her to make the right decisions. Kris works with integrity and a caring attitude and builds relationships with the clients that help her reach her goals consistently.
In addition to the Fairfield Inn award, Kris recently won JHM Hotels’ Corporate Sales Leader of the Year Award by reaching and exceeding all of her goals for the company. Along with her sales focus in the Greenville market, Kris is also an active member of the local hotel community. For instance, she has recently been appointed for a two-year term by the Greenville County Council to the Accommodations Tax Advisory Committee.
