Allayo Adds Biotech Industry Veteran to Board of Directors

Joining the Allayo board of directors is Ronald Martell. For more than 25 years, Ron has built and managed unique businesses in the biotech industry. Ron is currently a founder of two life sciences companies, IGIstat and Cetya Pharmaceuticals. His recent experience includes the leadership of NeurogesX as President and CEO and Poniard Pharmaceuticals as Chief Executive Officer. Before joining Poniard he served as Senior Vice President of Commercial Operations at ImClone Systems where he built ImClone Systems' Commercial Operations and field sales. His prior experience also includes more than10 years at Genentech in a variety of positions, the last of which was Group Manager, Oncology Products, launching Herceptin® and Rituxan®.
