Celebrated Mind Coach Shirley Polak Appears at International Women’s Day Breakfast 2014 in Los Angeles
Los Angeles, CA (PRWEB) March 31, 2014 -- Celebrated Mind Coach Shirley Polak was part of the sold-out International Women’s Day networking event at the La Maridean Delphine, Santa Monica Hotel in Los Angeles earlier this month. Some 300 top women business leaders from the Santa Monica area appeared at the breakfast, with Polak helping set up event goodie bags the night before and presenting her Power Mind Coaching sessions and Mind Set workshops the day of. Polak was thrilled to work with other amazing women at this increasingly-popular event celebrating women from all proverbial walks of life.
International Women’s Day hosts well over 1,000 events each year honoring the achievements of women around the world. Happenings range from small, informal occasions to large, meticulously-organized events, including those in the the United States, United Kingdom, Australia, Canada, India, Japan, Hong Kong and many more. International Women’s Day events benefit the World Association of Girl Guides and Girl Scouts, with sponsors including BP, Scotiabank, E.On and African Development Bank Group.
Hosted by the Santa Monica Chamber of Commerce, attendees of the La Maridean Delphine breakfast enjoyed hearing from honorees and networking with area professionals in addition to receiving their goodie bags and winning raffle prizes. Goodie bags featured items from favorite Santa Monica stores. Awards were presented to Santa Monica police chief Jacqueline Seabrooks and channel 11 news anchor Christine Devine for their outstanding work in the community.
