Betty Manetta to deliver Female Entrepreneur Lecture at Fairleigh Dickinson University (FDU)

Argent Associates President and CEO, Beatriz Manetta, will deliver the 2014 Female Entrepreneur Lecture on Friday, March 28, 2014 at Fairleigh Dickinson University.

Betty Manetta will give the Female Entrepreneur Lecture at FDU, which will be held after the awards ceremony for the 2014 New Jersey Idea Competition. The competition is a program designed to nurture an entrepreneurial mindset among high school students. The event will begin with a reception at 6 p.m. and the lecture will start at 7:15 p.m. in Lenfell Hall in Hennessy Hall, on FDU’s College at Florham, located at 285 Madison Ave., Madison, NJ 07940.

“I am excited to share my journey with these young entrepreneurs,” Manetta said, “it’s a way to help pave the road for future young entrepreneurs, especially women.”

Betty Manetta founded Argent Associates, Inc. as a Supply Chain Managed Services company focused on Telecommunications and the Technology Industry. Over the past 15 years, Argent has grown its business and is now the parent company to three divisions, including Argent Logistics, Pro Argent and G Argent. Manetta serves on the Program Advisory Board for Fairleigh Dickinson's Master of Science in Supply Chain Management Program and is on the Board of Directors for the Greater Dallas Hispanic Chamber of Commerce. She is also a member of the Seton Hall University Board of Regents and is a mentor for Women in the Seton Hall’s Leadership Development Advisory Council. Manetta was the recipient of the 2013 MBE Supplier of the Year Award by the Dallas Fort Worth Minority Supplier Development Council as well as the 2013 American Airlines ExtrAA Mile Award by United States Hispanic Chamber of Commerce.

Born in Argentina, Manetta grew up in Elizabeth, New Jersey. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Marketing and Accounting from Rutgers University and a Masters in International Business Studies from Seton Hall University.
