The DATA Annual Meeting provides an opportunity for digital asset companies and related organizations to chart the year ahead in digital currency and other areas. Sessions and workshops will focus on issues pertinent to the digital asset industry, including development of best practices, standards and regulatory issues, economic development opportunities, industry leadership, and international considerations.

DATA Board member Constance Choi said "The DATA Annual Meeting is an unique opportunity to learn from digital asset stakeholders, regulators, lawmakers and the finance industry. This is a critical time for DATA members to have the important conversations that will help us achieve our goal of uniting the industry around sensible outcomes for development of digital asset technologies."

DATA will also host a dinner gala focused on the human development aspects of digital assets on the evening of April 10 at the DuPont Circle Hotel.

Since November 2013 DATA has been working on a bilateral basis with influencers and regulators in the digital asset space to outline opportunities, to better understanding, and to unite the industry around sensible outcomes for development of these technologies.
