Intel NUC Now Available at General Technics
Long Island, NY (PRWEB) March 31, 2014 -- A supplier of high-performance computing systems for businesses, General Technics has announced the availability of the Intel NUC on its GTWeb.net website. Measuring 4 x 4 inches, the Intel NUC now offers the same capabilities of a tower PC, supports many digital applications, and conserves office space.
The compact Intel computer is well-suited for digital signage applications in any industry. It can be used to manage content on one or two HDMI displays, in any environment ranging from a small retail shop to a large airport. Additional configurations are available to provide analytical capabilities or manage up to three independent displays. Retail kiosk and video surveillance applications are also supported because the unit is able to manage large amounts of data. As such, it is suited for meeting a business’ storage requirements.
Storage media of 2.5 inches is supported by the system. The computer can be used to implement a media library, media production system, video editing platform, or even a gaming or home entertainment system in any setting. Solid state drives and wireless technology are also supported, making the Intel NUC a flexible solution that can be adapted for many different applications.
The compact computing system is also available in two forms, including the Intel NUC board. This 4 x 4 inch motherboard comes complete with a processor; the customer can integrate the unit into a chassis on their own. Another version is the Intel NUC kit. The motherboard and processor are pre-integrated into an enclosure. It also includes a power brick, VESA mounting bracket, and wireless antennae. A power cord is available as an option.
Several other technologies have been integrated into this compact computer.
● Intel Iris™ graphics: The computer supports 3D graphics, advanced high speed photo and video editing as well as large HD displays. No extra graphics card is needed to experience the benefits.
● Intel vPro™ Technology: Businesses have built-in security for virus and malware protection, access point protection, and data protection. The device also supports remote and local monitoring. It can be used to remediate issues and repair computing infrastructure. Protecting valuable business information is therefore possible.
The Intel NUC, also provided with a choice of Core i5™ or Core i3™ processors, is available to businesses now on the GTWeb site. Click here to learn more about the product, its benefits, and the applications it supports.
