Following a comprehensive audit of administrative documentation, medical practices and facilities, the National Accreditation Alliance of Medical Transport Applications (NAAMTA) is awarding Hawaii Life Flight (HLF) with medical transport accreditation for their fixed and rotor-wing program. As a result, Hawaii Life Flight continues its NAAMTA Alliance membership, and thus is privy to the associated benefits.

With their six bases, Hawaii Life Flight has demonstrated a continued commitment to maintaining and/or exceeding the stringent requirements of the NAAMTA Standards. Their history of successful medical transports is further evidenced by the accomplishment of achieving NAAMTA Accreditation.

Hawaii Life Flight demonstrated compliance in each of the numerous standards, offering documentation on processes for safety, aviation, and medical practices. NAAMTA found their compliance to be evident through employee interviews, on-site evaluations, and process reviews, all of which were conducted using the prestigious International Organization for Standardization (ISO) 9001:2008 auditing guidelines.
