Need Registry Announces No-Cost Fundraising Site for Families With Medical Crisis
Memphis, Tennessee (PRWEB) April 02, 2014 -- Need Registry, a “Care Coordination Center” for people facing medical crisis, has launched a new website for free fundraising programs for families during that difficult time. The site allows a patient or friends and family to create a free registry and set up a fund raising goal to communicate across town or across the country.
When a medical crisis strikes we know people need differing types of help at different times: Income can be suddenly reduced, unreimbursed expenses appear and unbudgeted expenses need to be paid, all while the chaos of crisis makes it difficult. Need Registry is designed to directly help with these issues.
We know that family & friends want to help but don’t know how; people can be located far away. The new website is built around creating a free registry (similar to wedding or baby) that can be shared with others who donate to a general fund. Those funds are used to pay medical and household expenses. The website registry provides a way for contributions to be easily made, to set up a calendar for neighbors to prepare meals and help with shopping or the home, and for the patient to communicate to all who are helping.
Anyone can create a Need Registry. Visit http://www.needregistry.com to learn more about how you can help or be helped.
