Next Century Publishing to Attend the L.A. Times Festival of Books
Los Angeles, California (PRWEB) March 29, 2014 -- Next Century Publishing (NCP), is happy to announce that the company will be going to this year’s L.A. Times Festival of Books. The festival, which began in 1996 to bring together authors, publishers, and readers, was an immediate success at the time of its inception. It has grown to attract more than 150,000 people each year. The L.A. Times Festival of Books has also evolved throughout the years to include a variety of entertainment, including live music, poetry readings, cultural entertainment, and more.
NCP is excited to exhibit during the 2014 Festival of Books, joining other publishers as well as booksellers, museums, theaters, and literacy and cultural organizations. It will hold several special events throughout the festival at the company’s booth, #191. These include giveaways to the first 1,000 people to visit the booth, a book signing by author Carmine Del Sordi, and special gifts for those who buy books on Saturday, April 12th.
“We believe that the festival’s goal to bring together those who create books with those who love to read them is really in line with our values at NCP," says NCP CEO Ken Dunn. In addition to the rich cultural offerings of the festival itself, attendees can explore what surrounds the University of Southern California campus. The nearby historic Exposition Park area is home to the California Science Center, the Natural History Museum, the Exposition Rose Garden, and the California African American Museum. However, with so many exciting readings, performances, and giveaways, book lovers will be hard-pressed to find time to tear themselves away from their beloved tomes.
“We’re excited to join the long-standing tradition of the L.A. Times Festival of Books, and can’t wait to share all that NCP has to offer with readers and authors alike,” concludes Dunn.
