Ken Tucker Enters Missouri House District 106th Race
St. Charles, MO (PRWEB) March 30, 2014 -- Ken Tucker (D) is announcing his candidacy for the Missouri House of Representatives from the 106th District, which encompasses parts of St. Charles and St. Peters. The seat is currently held by incumbent Representative Chrissy Sommer.
“The Missouri Legislature has failed us and it is wasting taxpayers’ dollars. I think we have to do better at economic development, job creation, and education here in our area to keep our community strong”, said Tucker.
Tucker has been an entrepreneur since 2005, when he started an online marketing and information technology business. Since then, he has been active in the Greater St. Charles County Chamber of Commerce, where he currently serves on the Board of Directors and as Co-Chair of the Technology Committee. As a small business owner, Ken knows what it’s like to work hard, grow a business, and step up to confront challenges. He was honored for his hard work with his selection as the 2009 Chamber Champion and again when his business was selected to be included among the Best Web Design Firms for 2014. As the Representative for the 106th District, Ken will focus on jobs, education, transportation, public safety, and great housing - the things that have and will continue to make our community great.
A campaign kickoff event will be held on April 9th at Tucano’s Brazilian Grill in St. Charles, MO. Visit http://www.kentucker.org for more information.
