RestaurantConnect™– an innovative Restaurant Management System Company today announced the release of its Mobile Web App that will bring restaurant reservations to the growing numbers of mobile users wanting to connect with their favorite restaurants while on-the-go. According to the xAd/Telmetrics Mobile Path-to-Purchase Study, restaurant search is the fastest growing mobile category, and one where diners convert in higher numbers compared with any other industry vertical.

According to 2012 study, conducted by Telemetrics and a leading mobile-local advertising network, 90 percent of mobile restaurant searchers convert within the day, and 64 percent convert immediately.

“Everyone knows that restaurant profit margins are slim. To build a fully branded mobile web app that communicates with your restaurant’s operating system would be quite the investment,” said Adam Christopher, CEO and co-founder of RestaurantConnect. “Our platform now includes a fully fledged mobile booking solution. We want to save restaurants the expense or time delay of hiring a design firm or a coder, as well as to have a real choice when it comes to other costly third party systems.”

As part of the RestaurantConnect reservation platform, this added mobile benefit enables restaurants to connect in ways that matter most to diners and restaurant management. Those features include a way for their diners to:

  •     Book online reservations,
  •     Learn about upcoming news, events, special promotions and offers,
  •     Submit private and group dining inquiries,
  •     Get GPS turn-by-turn directions to the restaurant.
Providing an optimal viewing experience for diners who use laptops, mobile phones and tablets of all shapes and sizes, as well as desktops is not easy. Responsive Web Design (RWD) answers that need. Christopher says the RWD mobile web app has been in the making for eight months and that the company will be adding even more customizable functionality to the app shortly.

“We are listening to the needs of restaurants’ guests. And this roll out lets our clients know that we are continuing to deliver value and cutting edge technology that builds their brand,” explains Christopher. “This new mobile solution is hugely beneficial to restaurants as both a simple booking widget or as a complete stand-alone mobile website. With our system, restaurateurs will discover that they can now control their guest’s mobile user experience on their terms.”
