Alameda, CA (PRWEB) April 03, 2014 -- TRIC Tools, a California Trenchless Pipe Bursting Manufacturer, participated in the recent U.S. Department of Commerce's 4th Annual "Make it in America; Sell it to the World" seminar, held at Hayward's Chamber of Commerce, 22561 Main Street, Hayward, CA 94541. The event was co-sponsored by Federal Express and Rina Accountancy Corporation. Michael Lien, Director of Operations, represented TRIC. "I really enjoyed this event, the location, facility and auditorium really made this a great venue for business networking." Rod Hirsch, Oakland's US Commercial Service Director hosted and moderated the day's activities. "Rod has been a great asset, assisting TRIC to establish international business outlets for our products," said TRIC's Gregg Abbott, Director of Sales.
This year's event was highlighted by several San Francisco Bay Area Companies receiving awards for their Export Achievements. Those honored were Dr. Raymond Wallace, Executive Director of International Programs and Brian Cook, Associate Vice President of Cal State East Bay; Mr. Robert Lundy, President & CEO of Glimmerglass; and Mr. Vernon Olson, General Manager of MDC Vacuum Products of Hayward, CA. Bernard Mbochi, Engineering, Product and Technology Lead of Talesun Solar Company was also given an award. Mr. Mbochi took part in the Power Africa Initiative for alternate fuels in Africa. Also at the event were Michael Sweeney, Mayor of Hayward, Todd Acker, FedEX, and Tom Neff, RINA Accountancy Corp.
Presenting at the event were Rod Hirsch, "Global Markets," Mr. Hirsch described how the US Commercial Services can help open new global markets for your products. Jeff Deiss, Regional Export Finance manager U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA); David Josephson, U.S. Export-Import Bank (ExIm Bank), and Dr. Lawrence Spinelli, Overseas Private Investment Corporation (OPIC) also gave presentations.
