Art Meets Fashion as Garment Printing Forms New Partnership with ARTECL London
London, Barcelona, Berlin (PRWEB UK) 31 March 2014 -- The collaboration between ARTECL and Garment Printing will see the two companies bring unique designs to men’s t-shirts. ARTECL incorporates the work of up-and-coming contemporary artists into their innovative t-shirt designs.
Garmentprinting.co.uk specialises in printing designs on a variety of materials with different printing techniques. The t-shirt printing company sampled over 100 designs for ARTECL using the direct to garment t shirt printing process and will produce an exclusive run of t-shirts in the next few weeks using water based screen printing for a range of printed tshirts.
Gavin Drake, director of Garment Printing commented on the partnership: “We are very proud to be working with ARTECL in bringing their designs to market. It is a pleasure to see the artwork come to life on their t-shirts and our innovative technology was able to capture the intricacies and beauty of their designs.”
Bold prints were seen on t-shirts, dresses, shirts and skirts by a variety of high profile designers at London Fashion Week. According to some fashion blogs: “It used to be a fashion faux pas, but now designers are combining prints with prints and even more prints. The bolder the better.”
Fashion brands including Burberry, Paul Smith and House of Holland showcased their latest print designs at London Fashion Week in February 2014.
“It took us a long time to find the right company to work with to bring our artwork to our t-shirts and we found the perfect fit with Garment Printing. We aim to produce the best quality clothes for our customers and we’re able to do that now with Garment Printing’s innovative technology,” said Angelina P, founder of ARTECL.
“We love fashion printing. It’s always a challenge to print new designs on garments, and it’s wonderful to see the great quality and brilliant colours we can achieve with our direct to garment and water-based screen printing techniques,” continued Drake.
The printed clothing industry has mushroomed over the last few years and is seen everywhere, from high fashion to promotional clothing. As trends change, Garment Printing continues to experiment with innovative new processes to keep one step ahead of the curve and enable fashion brands and businesses to produce high quality printed clothes.
