Willenken Wilson Loh & Delgado LLP is proud to announce Richard Tom has joined the firm as a partner. Tom will continue to focus in the areas of environmental litigation, permitting and compliance, and utility regulatory proceedings. Tom joins Willenken after a 17-year stint in-house at Southern California Edison, including as the managing attorney of the environmental and real estate practice group. He also served for five years as an environmental prosecutor in the California Attorney General's office and as a law clerk to the Hon. A. Wallace Tashima of the United States District Court for the Central District of California.

Throughout his career, Tom has worked on a wide range of environmental, health and safety regulatory, compliance, and litigation matters, in such areas as air, water, hazardous waste, nuclear, CEQA, NEPA, and the Endangered Species Act. He is a past Chair of the Environmental Law Section of the State Bar of California and former Co-chair of the State Bar's Council of State Bar Sections. In addition, he has also handled regulatory proceedings before the California Public Utilities Commission, a variety of real estate and commercial transactions, and numerous internal investigations.
