Denver, Colorado (PRWEB) April 02, 2014
Republic Services of Denver is pleased to offer the local community a convenient option to recycle unwanted consumer electronics in an environmentally responsible way. Through “E-Cycle Colorado,” an electronics recycling event held Saturday, April 5 from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Dick’s Sporting Goods Park in Commerce City, the community can bring unwanted consumer electronics to the event and Republic Services will responsibly handle the disposal.
“All electronics waste can be reused or broken down, and the materials recycled. Additionally, with new mandates in place prohibiting electronics from being discarded in landfills, it is more important than ever before to provide a community collection event with convenient and cost effective options to recycle unwanted electronics,” stated Mark Allen, Republic Services general manager. “Environmental sustainability is a core business principle at Republic Services and providing this resource to the community is part of our commitment to increase recycling and protect our planet.”
