NASBA Releases 2013 Uniform CPA Examination School Statistics
Nashville, TN (PRWEB) March 31, 2014 -- The National Association of State Boards of Accountancy (NASBA), today, announces the official release of the 2013 Uniform CPA Examination School Performance Book. The publication serves as a companion to NASBA’s Candidate Performance Book and features comprehensive statistical data from all (4) testing windows of the 2013 Uniform CPA Examination.
With the publication’s first edition released in 2013, the School Performance Book was designed to meet the general needs of educational institutions. The publication allows for easier comparison of institution performance with various other categories including: other universities, all schools in a given state/region and internationally-educated students. Additionally, the publication includes full-page graphical reports for states, regions and universities, and provides a view into performance by region and program size among peer institutions.
According to James Suh, NASBA’s Director of Continuous Improvement & Analytics, the School Performance Book takes a closer look into the specific performance of a school’s accounting program, is tailored to the needs of accounting program leaders, and supports decision making and tracking of changes to the curriculum, admission criteria or other variables inherent to an institution’s accounting curriculum.
“Accounting program faculty and administrators will greatly benefit from the publication’s statistics on First-Time Examination takers and students that have taken the CPA Examination within one year of graduation,” said Suh.
NASBA first began gathering data on CPA Examination candidates in 1982 and has published reports on performance and selected characteristics since 1985. These improvement efforts represent a continuation of NASBA’s ongoing role as a reliable and trusted resource to the accounting profession.
The 2013 Uniform CPA Examination School Performance Book is available in both softback ($250) and eBook ($200) versions. CLICK HERE to learn more about the publication, to place an order and to preview a complimentary, sample report.
