Colorado Springs, Colo. (PRWEB) March 31, 2014
Bristol Brewing Co., known in Colorado for exceptional microbrews, today announced the release of its Yellow Kite Summer Pils. Available both on tap and--for the fifth consecutive year--in six packs at liquor stores beginning April 5, Yellow Kite Summer Pils rejoins Bristol Brewing Co.’s line of microbrews distributed statewide, replacing Winter Warlock Oatmeal Stout during its off season - April thru October.
At Bristol Brewing Co.’s Prohibition Party on April 5, Yellow Kite will be available for only 33 cents per pint in honor of the year Prohibition was repealed, 1933. The costume-and-password-required speakeasy recaptures the 1930’s era and toasts the 81st anniversary of the repeal of Prohibition. The 9th annual Repeal of Prohibition Party hosted by Bristol Brewing makes its first appearance at the Ivywild School held in the fermentation room. The password “Wildcat” shared via the website, Twitter and Facebook and is the ticket into the release party.
“We’re excited to host the Prohibition Party for the first time at the Ivywild School,” says Mike Bristol, owner of Bristol Brewing Co. “Yellow Kite is one of my favorite beers. It harkens summer, when time slows down a little and you’re able to relax more.”
Bright gold in color, the seasonal pilsner has a traditional malt component paired with fine Czech and German hops for light, refreshing flavor and crisp distinction.
