Portland, Ore. (PRWEB) April 01, 2014
On March 28 CNN reported that the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention revealed the findings of a study showing that 1 in 68 children in the U.S. has an autism spectrum disorder (ASD). To show support for the autism community, Oregon-based nutraceutical company Kirkman Group, Inc., will be running special promotions throughout the month of April.
The company plans to run several campaigns that will spotlight autism awareness and give their customers the chance to participate in events and also learn more about ASD.
The promotions running throughout the month will include an opportunity for customers to send in photos and stories highlighting how they use Kirkman’s products in their everyday lives. These photos and stories will be shared with Kirkman’s thousands of social media followers, and one lucky participant will win a free year of membership to TACA +.
Kirkman® will also feature a newsletter where each story will discuss a different aspect of ASD, including the popular “Roadmap to Supplements” presentation done by Kirkman’s Chief Operating Officer Larry Newman.
Finally, the company will host their first live Google + Hangout on April 25 with Kirkman’s President David Humphrey, where he will discuss what is new in the field of autism.
