Lakeview Health Breaks Ground on Building Expansions to Better Meet Jacksonville Addiction Needs
Jacksonville, FL (PRWEB) March 31, 2014 -- Lakeview Health has begun the first phase of construction to expand and upgrade its campus, marking a major milestone for the region’s ability to serve addiction patients, as well as to disseminate critical information to the professionals nationwide who refer their clients for treatment. Phase 1 will focus on renovation of the primary entrance, giving guests a sense of peace and serenity when they are greeted by Lakeview Health staff.
Beginning in June 2014, phase 2 will launch with a multi-building expansion that is anchored by a 5,000-square-foot, 145-seat conference center to host special events, such as the acclaimed Lakeview Health Professional Lecture Series. Additional improvements include a 7,000-square-foot fitness center, a lap pool and administrative building.
“These spaces become so much more than the rooms in which people receive treatment,” stated Roy M. Serpa, president and CEO. “They are the places where lives are turned in the right direction. That’s why so much care is given to their surroundings at every step of their journey. From the warm entrance that welcomes folks inside, to the new athletic facilities that inspire a healthy lifestyle, our goal is to raise the bar for addiction rehabilitation.”
Construction will continue in phases throughout the year and the public is invited to view its progress on the Lakeview Health website at http://www.lakeviewhealth.com/expansion or on Facebook: http://www.facebook.com/drugrehabcenter
