Linda Tellington-Jones and the San Francisco SPCA Invite You to Enhance Your Relationship with Your Pet Through the Magic of TTouch
San Francisco, CA (PRWEB) April 01, 2014 -- TT Touch, an animal training and communication method, was first popularized by Linda Tellington-Jones, PhD, in the 1970s. Tellington-Jones has received worldwide recognition for her pioneering approach to holistic and alternative healing. The Tellington Method utilizes a variety of techniques of touch, movement and body language to affect behavior, performance, and health, and to increase an animal’s willingness and ability to learn in a painless and anxiety-free environment.
Join Tellington-Jones and the San Francisco SPCA on April 8th from 7pm – 9pm to learn about TT Touch's specialized approaches to the care and training of furry companions. Guests will learn how to establish a deeper rapport between them and their pet through increased understanding and more effective communication. The seminar is $35 and all proceeds will benefit the SF SPCA.
“I am very pleased to have Linda Tellington-Jones teach her techniques on animal handling and training,” says Dr. Jeannine Berger, DVM, DACVB, CAWA, Director of Behavior Resources at the SF SPCA. “I have known Linda for many years; she is an internationally recognized animal advocate who helps tirelessly improve the human-animal bond and pet health. I am thrilled to have her here at the SF SPCA where she will generously share her perspectives and solutions to deepen the human- animal bond. Improving the relationship between humans and their animals increases pets’ chances to stay in homes and, therefore, decreases surrenders to shelters.”
Tickets for this TTouch seminar will be available at the door the night of the event, located at 201 Alabama Street. General admission is $35 per person. All proceeds will help animals in need at the SF SPCA.
This demonstration is for humans only but will cover techniques for all companion animals. To learn more about Linda and TT Touch, visit ttouch.com.
