start.me has just released a new version of their simple and elegant personal start page service.
Since it's launch in early 2014, start.me is considered one of the best alternatives* for the iGoogle service that was retired by Google in November 2013**.
start.me's simple and intuitive interface allows users to easily access their favorite websites, news feeds, search engines and other web content (weather, stock info, sports, notes, etc).
start.me works across all modern browsers and devices (desktop, tablet and mobile), allowing users to manage and access their favorite web content, anywhere and everywhere.
Michiel de Wit (CTO of start.me): "start.me offers users minimal distractions and maximum control over their browser's start- and new tab page. We help our users to be more productive, by providing them with 1-click access to their most important pages and information."
Talking about the future, Michiel adds: "In the coming months, we'll significantly expand our widget library and we'll provide integration's with cloud services like Dropbox and Box."
