World Gardens Café Plans to Create a Gluten Free Amusement Park Dedicated to People with Celiac Disease- No Funnel Cake Allowed
Upland, CA (PRWEB) April 01, 2014 -- At a press conference on Monday, World Gardens Café unveiled plans to build an amusement park dedicated solely around being gluten free and catering to those with Celiac Disease. They plan to call it 'Healthy Land'.
World Gardens Café will set the bar for amusement park innovation as Healthy Land becomes the first of its kind in North America. Not only will all the food and beverages in the amusement park be gluten free, but the park will also be dedicated to 'edutaining' (educating while entertaining) children about healthy eating.
“We plan on having rollercoaster’s shaped as vegetables, and cartoon characters dressed up as super foods such as avocados and coconuts. The 'bad guys' will be products made with wheat and fast food items such as soda, chips, and French fries,” said co-Founder, Paul Mata.
The new theme park site is centrally located in the “artichoke” heart of Southern California, near the 57, 60 and 10 freeways. The facility footprint covers 14 acres and will feature over 23 attractions, all slated for an early summer 2015 opening.
