St. Petersburg’s RE/MAX Metro Inks First Real Estate Brokerage Deal for SavvyCard Mobile Web Services
St. Petersburg, FL, April 3rd, 2014 (PRWEB) April 03, 2014 -- RE/MAX Metro of St. Petersburg, Florida has become the first real estate brokerage to provide SavvyCard mobile web services to all of its agents. SavvyCard will provide each RE/MAX Metro agent with a personalized mobile website including mobile MLS search and referral and sharing features. SavvyCard (http://www.savvycard.com/) will also produce mobile websites featuring individual RE/MAX Metro listed properties, and provide mobile integration with the RE/MAX customer relationship system.
Marcus Martin, Director of Technology and Career Development for RE/MAX Metro, believes that greater access to mobile users and better use of referral data will help the brokerage’s 120 agents surpass the over $450 million in sales generated in 2013. “SavvyCard brings the power of mobile technology together with the power of referral marketing. I’m proud that our company sees the vision and has fully embraced this cutting-edge technology.”
RE/MAX Metro is responding to the massive shift of internet usage to mobile platforms, which now produce the majority of web searches and traffic. “Mobile services are particularly important for real estate, since people tend to be moving around when they’re looking for houses,” said David Etheredge, CEO of SavvyCard. SavvyCard has been refining its offerings for real estate since July of 2013, when it began providing mobile web services for the MIAMI Association of REALTORS® (http://www.miamire.com/), the largest local Realtor association in the U.S.
Individual RE/MAX Metro brokers will receive SavvyCard Professional packages, including a customized SavvyCard Mobile website with the Realtor’s image and brokerage branding, and Property Card mobile websites for each of the Realtor’s property listings. The SavvyCard team says that Realtors offering Property Cards have found that they’re a competitive edge in listing properties, since many home sellers choose their Realtors on the basis of marketing resources and creativity.
“SavvyCard introduces some new ideas to mobile website design,” says Daud Power, SavvyCard’s VP for R&D. “Too many mobile websites are information-heavy copies of desktop sites. A SavvyCard makes it easy for a mobile user to act – for instance, to search properties, then call, text, or email a Realtor.”
SavvyCards also feature a referral function (http://blog.savvycard.net/2014/03/pump-up-your-sales-with-a-savvycard-referral-network/), allowing users to share a SavvyCard via text, email, or social media. These referrals will be automatically tracked by RE/MAX METRO’s existing CRM system, centralizing and smoothing referral follow-up.
RE/MAX Metro’s website will now feature SavvyCard’s Send to Mobile technology, which lets users push mobile versions of pages from the RE/MAX Metro site to their smartphones. This feature will make it easier for prospective homebuyers to take information with them after doing research on a desktop website.
RE/MAX Metro (metroagents.net/) and its members were introduced to SavvyCard through their membership in the Pinellas Realtor Organization (PRO, pinellasrealtor.org/), which began providing its member realtors with a basic Realtor SavvyCard in January of this year (http://www.prweb.com/releases/2014/01/prweb11479303.htm). Bonnie Strickland, a Realtor affiliated with both PRO and RE/MAX Metro, had early success with SavvyCard, with clients bidding on a multimillion dollar home after browsing her Property Card listings. “They would have missed 2 properties they were very interested in if it weren’t for SavvyCard,” Strickland said of the clients.
That may be happening a lot more as SavvyCard spreads to all of RE/MAX Metro’s realtors. “Our agents have a new tool at their fingertips that will allow them to better serve their clients’ needs and place us further in a league of our own,” said RE/MAX’s Marcus Martin. “I’m very excited about this new partnership."
