Dearborn, MI (PRWEB) April 01, 2014 -- Contemporary Dentistry will host a private showing of “Say Ahh: The Cavity in Healthcare Reform,” the first documentary on oral health and the state of the nation’s healthcare system. The showing will take place on Thursday, April 3 at The Marriott Dearborn Inn at 6:30 p.m., and will educate people on the benefits of dental health care in Dearborn, MI.
The newly released documentary was created by Partners in Complete Health, a non-profit, 501c3. It addresses the perspective of “The largest Cavity- the one in our healthcare system.” The film highlights the connection between oral health and illnesses such as heart disease, obesity, diabetes and cancer. This documentary is important in addressing issues with the Affordable Healthcare Act and how dentistry directly effects overall health. “I just want to open people’s eyes,” said Dr. Nader Bazzi. Drs. Nader and Rima Bazzi and Dr. Julie Atoui, the doctors at Contemporary Dentistry, invite the media to attend this event in the hopes that they can report on the facts about oral health and overall health.
