Creative real estate advocate, Rick Otton, has rallied against new data which reveals that property buyers around the country are willing to pay “whatever it takes” for their dream property. Mr Otton has instead encouraged Australian property investors to empower themselves with alternative strategies to take control of their financial future.
In latest auction results posted on one of the country’s premier real estate websites, it’s been revealed that home buyers are paying exorbitant prices, in the millions, to secure upper-end properties, often beyond real estate agent expectations.
Mr Otton said while a small slice of the real estate buyers’ market had money to burn, the reality was that most investors intent on making money through property battled to build their property portfolio through traditional means.
“In many parts of Australia, the market is experiencing a property boom and there are fantastic opportunities to buy and control property,” Mr Otton said.
“But there is always a danger of the market falling, of not being approved for bank finance or of over-committing to a mortgage you can no longer service when interest rates rise.”
Ultimate real estate boot camp
The property millionaire and bestselling author, who runs one of the oldest property training companies in Australia, is holding a series of one-day live events this year to share his latest insights.
While dates for the Ready Set BOOM national tour are yet to be confirmed, people are encouraged to register their interest at readysetboom.com.au and secure a place at the not-to-be-missed event.
Mr Otton said participants would be taken, step by step, through a raft of creative real estate techniques he had developed from 20 years of experience.
“I will show students how to turn their negatively geared property into a positively geared one using actual figures and examples,” he said.
“They will learn how to create a positive cash flow machine using guerrilla marketing strategies that make tens of thousands of dollars on a tight marketing budget. I will reveal the secrets to buying and selling property in any market and any location.”
Mr Otton said the emphasis of his training seminars was on practicality and simplicity. The aim was to arm people with the skills and knowledge to go from owning “five homes to 50 with no loan liability.”
“This is no ordinary real estate seminar. My strategies are not only inspiring and motivating, but work – at no cost to participants,” he said.
Mr Otton has made available, at no charge, his Power Property Profits Pack, a free download that provides insights into his strategies. It is available now at http://www.creativerealestate.com.au/freepack
