Diana Kyser McNeff, Founding Partner of COO on Demand, is Running the Boston Marathon This Year for a Special Cause
Summit, NJ (PRWEB) April 09, 2014 -- Diana Kyser McNeff, founding partner of COO on Demand, is running the Boston Marathon this year. As a result of the tragic events of last year, the 2014 Boston Marathon is going to be the largest ever, with 36,000 runners and millions of spectators. For Kyser McNeff, this run is special in a very personal way. Running the Boston Marathon has been a goal of hers for more than a decade. “My father, Jim Kyser, was also an avid runner. On May 26, 1985 he ran the final 10k race of his life. Exactly one year later, he died of lymphoma at the age of 53. I have always wanted to honor him and the life he gave me, and this year I have that opportunity.” Kyser McNeff is running with Team in Training to raise money for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. To date, she’s raised over $12,000. And as if that isn't special enough, April 21, 2014, the day of the marathon, is Kyser McNeff’s 50th birthday.
