Panel Discussion Overview
A panel discussion focusing on business and technology audiences with equal interests in management of data, its security and access. Business feels that it owns the data, but technology provides its design, its access and its security. This sounds simple, but it is not so simple when data lineage has to be addressed. Depending on entitlement and identity, different people may have different accesses and ownerships to the same data, parts thereof, its lineage and its metadata. This cannot be done by business alone, or by technology alone, as it requires data and workflow traceability, granular security, audits and access logs.
