Monroe College Opens Office in Orlando to Bolster Alumni Ties and Admissions Support
Bronx, NY (PRWEB) April 03, 2014 -- Monroe College, a national leader in urban and international education, today announced that it has opened an office in Orlando to bolster ties with its Florida alumni and provide informational assistance and admission support to prospective students.
Monroe has a significant alumni population in Florida, with more than 800 graduates living in the state. The newly opened Orlando office will make it easier for interested students to experience the college’s culture and campus through a virtual tour. Students can also seek individualized enrollment support by speaking one-on-one with an admissions counselor.
“This new office will help us establish a stronger presence in Florida and more readily connect with the state’s alumni, many of whom have gone on to achieve notable career success,” said Stephen Jerome, President of Monroe College. “It will also help put a face to Monroe for local students unable to travel to New York, by allowing them to interact with our staff and gain a better sense of the campus through an immersive online tour.”
Based in Orlando, the office will serve as an informational outpost for students throughout the state, including Jacksonville, Tallahassee, Tampa, and Miami, among others. The college will also use the office to aid its recruitment efforts in Puerto Rico and the Virgin Islands.
The office is located at 7682 Municipal Drive and is open Monday through Thursday from 9:00am to 6:00pm, and on Fridays until 2:00pm. For more information, please call 646-393-8267.
