Indie Soul Launches 2015 Resort Collection During Miami Fashion Week
Miami, FL (PRWEB) April 02, 2014 -- Coming off the success of Orange County Fashion Week, South Florida-based Indie Soul proudly announces its runway show during Miami Fashion Week, the first international lineup of fashion shows dedicated to resort collections scheduled for May 15th through 18th. Fashion critics and influential buyers will view the 2015 styles from the bohemian luxury brand that was recently worn by supermodels Anastacia Ashley, Irina Shayk, Marloes Horst and Lauren Moller in the 50-year anniversary issue of Sports Illustrated magazine.
“As Miami Fashion Week rebrands itself into the official spotlight for designer resort and cruise collections, we are thrilled to be a key player in the reimagined vision that the new partners of the organization are executing,” said Tim Gorgol, Creative Director, Indie Soul. “Our line is designed for the free-spirited woman who makes a grand yacht or poolside entrance, so this is the perfect opportunity to present the collection.”
Gorgol, who launched the brand in 2013, employs a one of a kind hand-dying process that is executed by artisans in Peru and Colombia who specialize in the technique, which achieves the signature look of Indie Soul. To date, the brand is the only resort line utilizing this process, which ensures that no two pieces are identical, just like the women donning them.
In addition to critics with influential buying power, lovers of fine fashion will view the brand and be inspired to participate in Project Bikini, a contest for guest designers to create a swimsuit that will bear the winner's name on the label and be sold in the Indie Soul flagship store and newly launched website. With a firsthand look into the core of the brand to guide their design process, fashion aficionados who see the Indie Soul concept in motion may have greater chances of becoming the chosen collaborator.
