Intorrent Technologies and One IP Merge to Form Voclarion
Alpharetta, GA (PRWEB) April 08, 2014 -- Intorrent Technologies and One IP, two leading Voice over IP (VoIP) providers in the United States and the Netherlands, respectively, today announced their merger and brand re-launch as the new Voclarion. The merger formalizes a longtime partnership that includes the development and rollout of a shared IP PBX solution for small and medium businesses and multi-site corporations.
The new Voclarion pools two product development teams uniquely attuned to the business communications needs of North America and Europe. It also opens the door for Voclarion’s EMEA operation to target more Cloud/hosted VoIP opportunities, a specialty of the North American arm; in turn, the North American division will be better equipped to target large-scale customer premise and custom projects, a hallmark of Voclarion’s Amsterdam office. Voclarion will offer “follow-the-sun” customer support with both U.S. and Netherlands offices equipped to handle English-language support requests in a combined 21-hour workday.
“The merger just made a lot of sense,” said Darrell Hensley, CEO of Voclarion North America. “We were selling the software under different brand names based on geography, which was diluting our marketing and development efforts. By establishing a single, global brand—Voclarion—we become much more efficient in the use of our resources. The management teams of the two companies have partnered on projects for over 15 years; this joint rebrand is an affirmation of our commitment to delivering world-class business communications solutions and reaching a prospect audience that spans the globe.”
The Voclarion merge combines customer installs spanning the United States, Europe and Asia. Large-scale deployments include the City of Amsterdam, at more than 15,000 users, and Physicians Immediate Care, a leading provider of urgent care services in the American Midwest.
Now with two coding and product development teams working together to upgrade and integrate new commercial features, the Voclarion solution will be even more responsive to the needs of the constantly-evolving marketplace.
“The bottom line is that we’ve doubled up on our support, product, management and operations resources,” said Ron Arts, Founder of One IP and chief architect of the Voclarion solution code base. “It’s a big win for our current customers and a tremendous value-add for future customers and our intercontinental network of partner agents and resellers.”
