New York, New York (PRWEB) April 07, 2014
The Krav Maga Institute will open its fourth and fifth NYC locations in order to keep up with the demand for self-defense classes in Manhattan.
The Krav Maga Institute offers modern self-defense classes all over New York City and in the Bay Area in California. These two new locations are being opened to help people expand the program that teaches New Yorkers to defend themselves while also helping them attain their fitness goals and make new friends. The program helps boost self-confidence while equipping New Yorkers with the tools they need to look after themselves against attacks with and without weapons while also losing weight and getting fit.
"Our mission is to teach effective modern reality based self-defense (authentic Krav Maga) in a supportive and community based environment while also supporting the fitness goals of our members and improving the quality of their lives," said Patrick Lockton, the founder and owner of Krav Maga Institute. With the opening of these new branches, Lockton envisions to accommodate more individuals (ordinary men, women and children living in New York) and security and law enforcement professionals who would like to learn self-defense skills and close-quarter combat techniques.
KMI was established in New York City in 2011, and it offers a number of classes including modern and practical self-defense classes, women's self-defense classes, self-defense and practical martial arts classes for kids (BullyProof program) fighting classes, tactical fitness, cross training and private training opportunities in and around New York City.
