T&S Roofing Systems Gives Back to Miami-Dade Community through No Roof Left Behind Roof Giveaway
Miami, FL (PRWEB) April 05, 2014 -- As the Atlantic Hurricane Season approaches, Miami’s leading residential roofer, T&S Roofing Systems, Inc. and No Roof Left Behind (TM) are looking for a needy family to give a brand new replacement roof to.
“I came from a single parent home, where my mother worked hard to provide for us and give us a roof over our heads,” said Louis Toledo, President and Chief Executive Officer of T&S Roofing Systems, Inc. “Our company would like to help local families who have fallen on hard times and whose homes need a new roof,” he said.
Toledo is hoping to get the community’s help to identify families in need. Here’s how it works: anyone can log onto https://noroofleftbehind.com/program/fl/1101 and nominate a friend, a family member, a neighbor or a homeowner in need. People can even nominate themselves. The only requirements are that nominees must own the home and live in Miami-Dade County.
Online nominations will be accepted from now through April 30th. The nominations are reviewed and narrowed down to four finalists. The community will have a chance to vote from May 18th to June 5th for their most deserving neighbor. The winner’s name will then be revealed online on June 12th. Once a winner is chosen, T&S Roofing will pay all materials and labor costs for the new roof, as a way of giving back to the community.
The roof giveaway is a first for T&S Roofing Systems, which recently celebrated its tenth year in the roofing business. The company owners, Louis Toledo and Ernesto Sanchez, are big believers in giving back to the community. In August 2005, immediately after Hurricane Katrina, the Federal Emergency Management Agency or FEMA charged T&S Roofing with installing emergency tarps on damaged homes and businesses throughout Miami-Dade County. Now through No Roof Left Behind, the company hopes to better even more lives.
The giveaway is just on time for the upcoming tropical hurricane season, which runs from June 1st through November 30th every year.
