Christie at Vista 2014 Latin American Film Convention
Cypress, CA (PRWEB) April 06, 2014 -- Christie®, the dominant brand in the global digital cinema projection market, is pleased to announce its participation at the Fourth Regional Convention of the Film Industry in Latin America, VISTA, which will be held April 7 9, 2014 in Puerto Madero, Buenos Aires, Argentina.
Organized by Ultracine and with Christie as a principal sponsor, VISTA is the key annual meeting point for distributors, exhibitors, government agencies, manufacturers and service companies in the film business in Latin America.
As in previous years, VISTA will have its trade show, showcasing products and services alongside screenings of productions to be premiered during the 2014-2015 season, as well as trend presentations and engaging panel discussions about the audiovisual sector.
Christie will sponsor the opening party of VISTA, and providing informational videos about the firm for visitors to see in all the venues of the fair and prior to convention presentations. Bruno Tavares, general manager of Christie Digital Systems South America Ltda., will also make a presentation on Christie and its products on Wednesday, April 9 at 3:30 p.m. in a Cinemark theater.

The venues of the convention will be the Hotel Madero Buenos Aires, which will host the trade show, various Cinemark Puerto Madero theaters where the screenings and presentations will take place, and UCA Puerto Madero auditorium, which hosts the panels and lectures.
In March 2013, Christie opened its first office and showroom in South America, which is located in So Paulo, Brazil, and provides in-region customer service and support, most notably in the digital cinema market, where Christie already has an established and growing customer base. Recently, digital cinema projectors from Christie have been deployed in Hoyts Chile, Kinoplex Brazil and Supercines El Rosado Ecuador, among other cinema chains in South America.
