Harrisburg, PA (PRWEB) April 04, 2014 -- On May 10, 2014, Mid Atlantic BX (MABX®), Harrisburg University and the Technology Council of Pennsylvania are partnering to host a Hackathon.
MABX, a trade association dedicated to connecting the construction industry, is inviting developers to look at its cloud-based Tools® system and create new programs or improve on its current technology.
“MABX is committed to constantly improving our offerings to better serve our members and technology plays an integral role in our ability to deliver on that promise,” said MABX Executive Director Chad Harvey. “Gathering together the best developers in the region for a hackathon is an excellent way for us to generate new ideas and improve upon our strengths. Our partnership with two outstanding institutions in the form of Harrisburg University and The Technology Council of Pennsylvania is also key to the success of this event and we look forward to a fun and productive day.”
The Hackathon will be held at Harrisburg University on Saturday, May 10 beginning at 8:30 a.m. Registration is free for all attendees. Prizes will be awarded and sponsors are encouraged to talk to students about potential internships.
