County of San Diego Parks and Recreation Leads Mobile Movement with GoStrive
San Diego, CA (PRWEB) April 07, 2014 -- County of San Diego Parks and Recreation announces they have joined GoStrive as their latest partner. The county served earlier this spring as a pilot organization for GoStrive, providing market research opportunities and focus groups to assist in product development. The County of San Diego is leading the West Coast in adoption of mobile technology for their programs, activities, and events. GoStrive, a Wisconsin-based startup company, provides mobile event and activity search to organizations like the County of San Diego, all around the nation.
County of San Diego selected GoStrive to bring better community awareness, participation and registration to its diverse portfolio of program offerings, from after school programs at the Rec Club to a few more surprising activities like dog obedience classes and pickleball. Community members in San Diego can now use the GoStrive mobile app to discover interesting events by category, facility, or by what their friends are signed up for. They can also invite friends and family to participate and share their events on Facebook and Twitter.

The GoStrive app is now used by more than 160 agencies in 22 states. The County of San Diego Parks and Recreation is the first to adopt the mobile app in California. They lead the charge on the West Coast as GoStrive spreads to communities around the nation.
