CoViz® 4D Version 7.1 Announced by Dynamic Graphics, Inc. at AAPG Conference
Houston, TX (PRWEB) April 06, 2014 -- Dynamic Graphics (DGI) announces a new version of its quantitative visualization software package, CoViz 4D. CoViz 4D’s 7.1 new features include enhanced drag-and-drop loading from Schlumberger Petrel projects, drag-and-drop loading of LAS well log files, and numerous new options in the established optional modules: the CoViz Sim2Seis workflow and the CoViz Integrated Well Designer (CVIWD). The CoViz Sim2Seis workflow allows the user to rapidly and easily create 4D synthetic-seismic volumes from input reservoir simulation grids. The power and flexibility of the CoViz 4D visualization environment allows the user to interactively compare these synthetic-seismic volumes with input data, allowing for faster, easier seismic history-matching. New tools in CVIWD allow for easy customized map and cross-section preparation of well plans in the context of the geologic model. DGI will be demonstrating CoViz 4D 7.1, the Sim2Seis workflow, and the CVIWD module, along with other DGI software products, at the American Association of Petroleum Geologists (AAPG) Annual Convention.
“We are constantly updating CoViz 4D to improve our customers workflows. By focusing on easy drag -and-drop imports for popular data, and creating modules based on customer demand, we are seeing dramatic decreases in the time it takes for users to complete workflows. Quicker workflows allow for better and faster decisions at every level of the organization.” Dynamic Graphics' President, Art Paradis
Demonstrations of the new features of CoViz 4D will be available at the Dynamic Graphics booth, #935, at the AAPG conference in Houston, TX, April 6-9.
