Eastern Air Lines to Sponsor Miami Fashion Week 2014
MIAMI, FL (PRWEB) April 04, 2014 -- The new Eastern Air Lines Group is proud to announce the sponsorship of Miami Fashion Week 2014, taking place from May 15th to 18th inside the Miami Beach Convention Center. Eastern Airlines announced earlier this year it will launch service from its Miami base in the next 12 months, subject to U.S. government regulatory approval.

As part of Eastern Air Lines’ sponsorship, Miami Fashion Week 2014 has organized a competition among the top Miami-based fashion designers to design the company’s new flight attendant uniforms.

Having the opportunity to design the new flight attendant uniforms, and be associated with such an iconic brand is a tremendous honor for us,” said Beth Sobol, Founder and President of Miami Fashion Week.
With one of the world’s most beautiful beaches and cruise destinations as the setting, Miami Fashion Week will showcase the world’s trendiest designers as they present their fashion masterpieces to international buyers, media and fashion trendsetters.
Eastern Air Lines filed an application with the United States Department of Transportation on Jan. 28th, 2014, for a Certificate of Public Convenience and Necessity, and plans on commencing its Part 121 certification with the Federal Aviation Administration shortly.
