Healthcare Leaders Invest in Wellframe’s $1.5M Seed Round

These include, among others, athenahealth CEO, Jonathan Bush, Founder and Managing Director of Draper Fisher Jurvetson, Tim Draper, President of the British Medical Association, Sir Sabaratnam Arulkumaran, Former Global Managing Director at Accenture, Russ Nash, Venture Partner at Fidelity Biosciences, Carl Byers and Founder and Managing Partner, Leerink Capital Partners, James Nahirny. Wellframe was also a member company of Rock Health's fourth class.

Additionally, Dogu Celebi, MD, MPH, has joined the Wellframe team as Head of Product and Market Strategy. Dr. Celebi has a long track record working with innovative healthcare companies, most recently serving as Senior Vice President of Medical Informatics at Audax Health.

In February, Wellframe announced that the company had rolled out its platform at South Shore Hospital. Clinicians at the hospital are using the platform to extend rehabilitation services to cardiology patients in between hospital visits. In addition to several ongoing clinical trials, Wellframe expects to make a number of customer announcements among health plans and providers in the coming months.
