Security Optimization Service Delivers Rapid Implementation of Best Practice Security for JD Edwards EnterpriseOne users. Security Management Efficiencies and Compliance Cost Savings Deliver Positive Return on Investment

“This service enables them to address security problems quickly and efficiently, delivering a positive return on investment as security management and compliance cost savings far exceed the project costs.”

Q Software Global, an Oracle Gold Partner and provider of security management and compliance solutions for JD Edwards users, has today announced a new Security Optimization Service for JD Edwards EnterpriseOne users at Collaborate 14, which is taking place at the Sands Expo and Convention Center in Las Vegas from April 7-11.

Designed for companies who have concerns about their security but restricted resources to tackle the problems, the Security Optimization Service helps them to assess their current situation, devise and execute a plan to address their specific needs and priorities, and rapidly implement an efficient and sustainable security model.

Common problems include:

  •     Complex security that is difficult to manage
  •     Uncertainty as to the effectiveness of the security
  •     Inability to establish exactly who can access what and restrict access appropriately
  •     Inability to find satisfactory answers to auditors’ questions, leading to compliance issues.

“Many JD Edwards EnterpriseOne users know that they have security issues, but they often don’t have the resources and know-how to resolve them,” says Mike Ward, Vice President, Q Software. “This service enables them to address the problems quickly and efficiently, delivering a positive return on investment as security management and compliance cost savings far exceed the project costs.”

The Security Optimization Service begins with an audit to assess the status of the existing security and identify issues that need to be resolved. Q Software consultants then deliver tailored services appropriate to the company’s needs, including:

  •     advice on how to design and implement a security model and processes geared to the organization’s structure
  •     guidance on Best Practice – applied to the organization’s specific situation – to avoid expensive mistakes and inefficiencies
  •     advice and practical help to define appropriate Segregation of Duties rules and create efficient compliance reports
  •     training, support and hands-on help where extra resources are needed.

Q Software is exhibiting on Booth # 825 at Collaborate 14.
